SEATTLE, WA: Big Trees Inc., ( is preparing for the final steps of a large project in the Clyde Hill neighbourhood (8 miles East of downtown Seattle), a project which has been underway for over a year. Big Trees Inc. assisted in the extraction of several trees due to remodeling to be undertaken on site, to preserve the trees from damage in the process, and now will be executing the re-planting of the trees back into their landscape.

The project entails moving several trees into a new environment , including two 8’ tall, 14’ wide Laceleaf Japanese Maple trees, (weighing in around 7,000 pounds each) as well as two specimen Pine trees. The re-planting will be overseen by Big Trees Inc., the landscape designer and the owner of the estate. The re-planting date is scheduled for the third week of October.

Big Trees owner Nancy Latham stated “I’m very pleased to see these trees being brought to their home. These trees have been stored and cared for in our nursery for a year and a half, and now the project is coming to a close. We’ll be really happy to see the trees as they were meant to be back at their original home. It has been great to work with a customer who truly appreciates the value of saving trees – particularly unique specimens like theirs!”
